I was responsible for long-term development projects encompassing the whole value chain from agriculture to production to logistics and products assortment, worked on implementing corporate strategy and risk management, and provided financial support for all investment projects.

I worked in the team of HKScan group CEO, running group-wide development projects, facilitating the work of group management team, provided advice on M&A opportunities, revised and maintained group-wide project management model, and handled various ad-hoc analytical tasks.

I worked at group level on topics ranging across the whole value chain (primary production to processing to marketing and logistics) and all home markets (Nordics, Baltics, Poland). My main responsibilities included:• Management of group-wide strategic projects• Mapping of competitive landscape primarily in meat and meat processing, but also food industry in general• Monthly reviews of quantitative and qualitative business intelligence for top management• Advice and inputs for group strategy creation and implementation• Advice on M&A opportunities

I managed the daily operations of HKScan's Logistics department in the Baltics, comprising of more than 100 employees, carried out the execution of the consolidation of picking and dispatching of chilled goods from Riga, Latvia to Jüri, Estonia, reformed the way of working of tare washing department, and introduced the necessary reporting.

Managed a department of about 30 people at the factory in Estonia, dealing with procurement of raw materials, production planning, sales support, warehousing and logistics. My main tasks included:• Ensuring seamless processes for the flow of materials from suppliers to production and production to customer• Responsibility for in-house non-financial planning: monthly procurement and sales plans, day-to-day production and loading plans, and the interplay between all of them• Introduction of group-level plans and initiatives• Communication with group executives and sales offices around Europe and Asia• Communication with media and authorities, in co-operation with colleagues• Preparation of department budget• Participation in continuous improvement projects in the factory• Advice to Managing Director in strategic questions

I worked next to the CFO of the factory and was mainly involved in analytical projects, reporting and cost control issues. My main tasks included:• Cost control and profitability analysis of products and product groups• Profitability analysis of major investment/divestment projects• Preparation of yearly budgets, mainly the variable costs part• Co-ordination of the work of an analyst• Development of tools for regular reporting (in MS Excel)• Preparation of major regular reports• Calculation of the salaries of all factory employees

I worked in the Production Planning Department and was responsible for different analytical tasks:• Development of new production planning system (in MS Excel)• Development of new capacities management system (in MS Excel)• Analysis of non-standard orders and products• Determination of seasonality in raw material prices and procurement optimisation• Location and correction of mistakes in databases
