About Martin Lang
I lead the MA Fine Art programme at the University of Lincoln, where I was previously Year One lead on our BA Fine Art programme. I am developing two large research projects: a monograph on “militant aesthetics” and a practice as research project called “The Truth in Painting 1993”. I have published a number of articles on art and politics, and disseminated my research at a number of academic and non-academic conferences, galleries and museums. I have exhibited my work nationally and internationally and I write for Trebuchet Magazine. I am member of the Association of Art Historians and a Member of the Politicized Art Practice Research Group (University of Loughborough).
