With expertise in both the public and private sectors, I have successfully applied health and safety legislation and systems across diverse industry specialties.My interpersonal skills are highly developed, enabling me to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. I have a proven track record of building robust and effective relationships both internally and externally. As the HSEQ Director for the Corserv Group, I have extensive Board level experience and had the privilege of serving as an Executive Director on the Board during a 6-month absence.In the public sector, I have held operational regulatory and policy positions in construction, manufacturing, forestry, and agriculture. This equipped me with substantial knowledge in regulatory approach, enforcement and prosecution. Additionally, I have made significant contributions in the private sector, particularly in construction civils & infrastructure, housing, facilities management, and health & social care.Regarded as an influential figure, manager, and leader, I excel in motivating individuals and fostering high performing teams. My ability to inspire and engage has been recognised through my appointment as vice-chair for the Working Well Together national construction safety initiative in the SW region. As a competent public speaker, I am regularly invited to address training events, delivering impactful presentations.Above all, I am driven by a people-first approach.
