Screenwriter, director, and editor in that order. I am a graduate the University of Southern California's Film School, with a specialization in video editing and screenwriting. I am passionate about storytelling, whether that be on the first draft on the page, or the final draft in the editing bay.I began my career in theatre and live show production before transitioning to filmmaking. After spending a number of years as a freelance assistant director in Toronto, I enrolled in the University of Southern California's Film and Television production MFA.While at USC I worked extensively as a teaching assistant in the post-production department, honing both my technical skills and story-telling instincts. I possess advanced proficiency in industry-standard editing including Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer, as well as sound editing software such as Protools. Beyond my work in education, I have hands-on experience in editing, working on a number of advanced projects at USC.In addition to my expertise in video editing, I have extensive experience as a screenwriter and script developer. I wrote a full season of a sitcom to be pitched for Telefilm funding along with an adjoining series bible, and multiple of my scripts have been green-lit for production in capstone classes.Beyond screenwriting and editing my experience in filmmaking is extensive and multifaceted. I was as a production coordinator in the animated Paramount Feature, the Tiger's Apprentice. I've worked as a producer, DP, AC, script supervisor, and production coordinator across multiple projects and mediums. I take pride not only in my story telling abilities but also in my verticality and experiencer across film and television's eclectic departments.I am eager to connect with fellow filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals who share my enthusiasm for telling off-kilter, original stories.
