I spent most of my engineering career with General Motors gaining diverse expertise in leadership of design, development, manufacturing, partnerships, technology development, and engineering laboratories.I have lived in USA, Japan, China, India, and Canada while concentrating technical leadership around the globe. I feel lucky to bring this diversity of experience to Garrett and our worldwide team.About me:I am a hands-on car guy with a lifelong passion for innovative mobility. From building a gas-powered go-cart at age 12, to leading large teams developing electric propulsion systems for the global market, I am all about making things that go fast, efficiently.I have a proven track record leading high performance technical teams executing large-scale innovative projects. I leverage unique expertise to launch award-winning electrified propulsion solutions into mass production through joint ventures and collaborations in Japan, Korea, China, USA, and India ranging from 48V micro-hybrid to +300 volt long-range EVs. I have supported industrialization of fuel cell module systems aiming for carbon-free long-range heavy-duty propulsion solution for large-scale decarbonization.I am a focused “closer” translating dream objectives into practical, measurable, actionable plans that deliver complex quality parts on time. I am adept at collaborating across industries and regions, and am known for technical skills, strong relationships, customer enthusiasm, business acumen, and personal integrity. I am comfortable in the lab, in the board room, and under the hood.
