Since 1995, I have been working at the intersection of Telecommunication, Media Technologies, Data, and Robotics, with a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve complex challenges.I completed my PhD in computer science at INRIA, France, followed by post-doctoral research in the US, and later co-founded a startup in France. This entrepreneurial experience fueled my passion for innovation and drove me toward leadership roles in both academia and industry.As a lecturer at ETH Zurich, I had the opportunity to share my knowledge with future technology leaders, before moving into industry at Technicolor, where I served as a Distinguished Scientist and Director of Technology Strategy. In this role, I led a new research initiative focused on data processing and analysis, driving innovation and aligning it with business strategies.In 2016, I joined Schunk, initially leading the cyber-physical systems division where I spearheaded the company's digital transformation and developed smarter robotic systems through machine learning. I started with 15 researchers in Paris and then moved the lab to Rennes where the lab grew to more than 50 researchers. The mission of this lab is to develop systems and technologies in the field of machine learning, data mining, and user profiling as well as networking and content security. Specifically, we support the different Business Units in their need to analyse the data coming from the home devices like gateways and set-top-boxes, but also from the deployed home automation and IoT services.Our key projects are on:- virtual CPE: develop a platform that hosts edge services in a cloud infrastructure.
