In addition to writing comics and animation, Martin Pasko currently owns and operates MPCD (Martin Pasko Creative Development), a content supplier and consultancy specializing in developing branded entertainment properties such as comics and toy lines -- with an emphasis on comedy and satire -- for transmedia storytelling applications, as well as more traditional TV, film, and print media, web content, and consumer product licensing. A veteran writer, story-editor and producer in a diverse array of media, including live-action and animated television, Pasko also has deep experience with the action-adventure, fantasy, science fiction, and super hero genres. He has translated or co-developed many comic book and graphic novel properties to TV, including SUPERMAN, SPIDER-MAN, THE TICK, and CADILLACS & DINOSAURS, and has story-edited and written for such series as MY LITTLE PONY, G.I. JOE, TRANSFORMERS, and BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, for which he won a Daytime Emmy® Award. He is also a co-writer of the animated feature BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM.Now an indie comics creator as well, Pasko has worked for many comics publishers but is best-known for his work with DC Entertainment, having written Superman in many media, including television, children’s books, and webisodes, in addition to comics and syndicated strips, and co-created the revival of DR. FATE that is the basis of the character's current, long-lived incarnation.
