In the first three years at the Swedish - Macedonian company Seavus Group, I was working as a developer, and then as a senior developer. I was part of the Embedded division, working on software development on various projects and platforms for Ericsson and later ST Ericsson. Beside working on development for new platforms, I have also worked on customer support, providing first hand support for customers all over the world. The technologies we were working with was ANSI C and assembler for ARM, C and C++ for the PC applications made by our department. Also we have used Perl, XML/XSL for several different applications and tools. Most of the time I was working on the ARM A9 processor, but I’ve also worked on maintaining the code for the previous platforms based on the ARM9 and ARM11 cores. The software we were developing at Seavus was OS-free bootloaders for all Ericsson platforms. I was also working with drivers for UART, USB, TCP/IP, SPI, I2C, HSI and SDIO.The tasks I worked on included drivers for different kinds of Flash memories (NOR or NAND) from various vendors (Samsung, Spansion, Hynix), bad block management software (FFX, XSR, CABS), flash file systems (JEFF and YAFFS), TCM, cache memories, external RAM memories (SRAM, SDRAM, DDR1), memory management unit etc.During my engagement in Seavus I have worked with different compilers and various set of tools like some source control management tools, static and dynamic code analysis tools, emulators and debuggers.
