I have been involved in the manufacturing industry 40+ years. My technical experience includes machine and tool design, inventory management, process planning, manufacturing engineering, CNC programming systems, CAD/CAM application systems and, since 1979, tool management inventory and tracking systems. I have held various positions involving plant management, shop floor production, design, engineering, product development, marketing, sales, finance and corporate management. I have designed and conducted numerous courses about CNC manufacturing and tool & inventory control management.Specialties: I am the author of many magazine articles, APICS and SME manufacturing papers concerning CNC, tool & inventory management and of the book "Tool Management Strategies". I Introduced the manufacturing industry to ITC's tool management concepts throughout the world and am credited with many of the accepted tool management procedures that are in use today.
