Currently helping VUB leverage their corporate knowledge.My experience as metadata and knowledge management professional ranges from setting up and managing an enterprise information portal to communities of practice and KM strategy. I led collaborative creation of strategy for knowledge management, initiated and coordinated communities of practice with tangible impact on business results, led the transformation of enterprise information portal and the creation of enterprise knowledge graph, which we are continuously enriching through automated methods and in-depth metadata analyses by our team. Currently we are working on implementing advanced searching techniques leveraging vector and graph databases as well as LLMs. As coordinator of communities of practice I most notably helped start VUB AI community in 2020, which connected over 80 business stakeholders and data scientists and sparked the delivery of big data and AI use cases which supported various business functions.I believe that knowledge is the keymost resource for development and innovation, as well as sustainability and longevity. My aim is thus to connect those who need to know with those in the know; make up-to-date knowledge readily available and easily applicable. Only then we can take a step towards a modern learning organization.
