This position is focused on providing investment consulting services to an institutional investor base, whilst also providing support to Senior Consultants and research teams across JANA. I play an instrumental role in formulating and delivering investment strategy and advice for clients, and I am a key contributor to the overall investment strategy. To ensure optimal standards of advice and services are delivered, we apply innovation and extensive research to our investment strategies, which involves performing quantitative analysis of strategy return profiles and risk characteristics, in addition to conducting extensive market research. With each client, our aim is to build a robust and long-term relationship, based on trust and confidence in our knowledge and expertise when it comes to investment. We carry out the necessary means to ensure our investment strategies and advice is seamless, and financially advantageous for each client.

In this position, I am responsible for managing investments on behalf of clients spanning across emerging market funds, global funds and multi-sector funds. The portfolio I was responsible for managing was between USD $400M and $600M in value. My portfolio of clients was broad in diversity, comprising of individual and institutional investors, insurance companies, corporate and public pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments and foundations, and consultants to intermediaries. Specific actions taken in managing this portfolio included formulating strategies for fixed income and currency markets, executing trades for allocated fixed income, interest rate swaps and foreign exchange, as well as managing interest rate and EM FX risks across a range of Voya fixed income strategies.
