I started at Ushaka Marine World as a Ticketing Attendant in the cash office selling entrance tickets to visitors.Responsibilities included:Ticket sales- Pick up, verify and protect the security of floats and cash.Run opening, closing mid-shift reports.Prepare cash pickups- Documents amount of cash and drops in locked drop box.Safely handle cash, credit cards, business cheques, vouchers, uShaka pass cards and various ticket media.Accurately account for voids, refunds, returns, and exchanges with appropriate reasoning.Process VIP's, complimentary admissions and group sales transactions.Prepare daily reconciliation form at the end of each shift.Maintain operational levels of cash, ticket media and supplies on a daily basis.Account for each wristband issued at the morning of the shift.
