Designed, implemented and supported Verizon's Networkfleet state of the art Datacenter Network infrastructure between San Diego, Phoenix and Verizon Wireless. Created a redundant Network between 3 geographically separated sites utilizing OSPF, BGP and Gre tunnels for sub-second failover. Also responsible to maintain a dual Data-center full BGP Internet Routing table with 100% planned uptime as well as redundant BGP-Ipsec connections to Verizons Wireless backbone. I was able to achieve 100% planned uptime during my time at Verizon and set the stage to move from Frame-relay connections to BGP-Ipsec connections that will better support the companies current 500,000 mobile devices in the field. Oversaw the deployment of Cisco 4500-X throughout the company in VSS mode, Juniper EX4550 switches, Cisco ASA 5555-X and Palo Alto IPS/IDS.

Support, design and implementation of Network Projects for Samsung’s 2 Data Centers in Frankfurt and 15 Eastern European branches. Design and recommendation of future Network infrastructure upgrades based on usage analysis and customer needs. Implementation of complex routing solutions in a world-wide redundant environment with Cisco EIGRP, BGP, OSPF and IPSEC GRE VPN Tunnels . Preparation of Network Diagrams, Presentations and Quotations for other Samsung Subsidiaries. Coordinate the installation of cabling, leased lines with ISP’s and required DC installations with multiple vendors and a global team of Network Engineers.

Support of the multi-vendor Cisco/Brocade/Juniper/Aruba Wireless Network Infrastructure. Support Networks and Cisco ASA Firewalls for 5 Hospitals, 30 clinics and 2 Data Centers on a High Availability environment.1500 Switches/Routers under control. OSI Layer 1, 2 and 3 support. Implement Cisco Nexus OTV, HSRP,VRRP as well as a full mesh OSPF Layer 3 HA setup between Data Centers and Hospitals. Experience with Cisco Catalyst 2k, 3k, 4k switches, Cisco Nexus 7k, 5k and 2k. Configuration and planning of 4000 Aruba Wireless Access Point deployments with Airmagnet products. Configuring Cisco ASA 5540,5510, 5505 Firewalls for vendors and VPN tunnels.
