Teaching has been a rewarding and a learning experience which allowed me to contribute to the formation of an important segment of the workforce by helping apprentices as well as journeymen to have a better understanding of safety, materials, techniques, equipment and many other important aspects of the construction business that pertain to the plastering and fireproofing trade.As instructor, I had the opportunity to convey to students information and experience by developing an extensive curriculum that helps to prepare apprentices for a rewarding career. And to be industry contributors trained in: OSHA safety regulations, CPR/basic first aid, safe operation of forklift, aerial boomlift and elevated platform operation, plaster and fireproofing pump operation and maintenance, scaffolding, the use of tools, equipment, materials and methods.

Woked for Rutherford Co. Inc. in the plastering division and served the duties of foreman for a period of fifteen years coordinating all tasks related to exterior plaster, Fireproofing, EIFS and interior plaster in a large variety of projects that include historic restoration, seismic retrofiting and new projects.
