Personal Trainer & Body Transformation specialist

Co manager of 'the Gym' Cardiff which currently sits at 5,500 members. Main roles are: managing a team of 18 personal trainers, assist GM with club budgets, forecasts and managing club EBITDA. Other roles are: to help with marketing strategies, gym promotion, corporate outreach to other businesses, recruiting and training new personal trainers, health and safety & fire risk assessments, monthly one to one business plan meetings with PT's.

Providing one to one training advice and guidance, devising fitness programmes for all personal requirements and conducting fitness classes and demonstrations. Welcoming new members and providing suitable inductions, designing and constructing dietary programs or exercise plans whilst maintaining high gym standards. Keeping Track of all clients progress and making suitable adjustments accordingly. Generating new business by outreach and gym tours, membership sales and current member retention.

Assisting the GM with club budgets, forcasts and managing club EBITDA. Other roles include helping manage marketing strategies, gym promotion, corporate outreach to other businesses and club security checks. Also, providing one to one training advice and guidance, devising fitness programmes for all personal requirements. Conducting fitness classes and demonstrations. Welcoming new members and providing suitable inductions. Designing and constructing dietary programs or exercise plans, whilst maintaining gym equipment and its safety. Keeping Track of all clients progress and making suitable adjustments accordingly. Generating new business by outreach and show rounds, membership sales and current member retention. New business call handling and up selling of the health club.

Ensuring all departments were run smoothly, being a first point of call for all new hotel guests. Phone handling and up selling of the hotel. Checking guests in and out, dealing with any customer complaints directly. Handling large amounts of cash whilst preparing it for daily banking. Going above and beyond protocol where possible to all guests, ensuring they have the best pleasant stay at the hotel.

Planning lessons for three different classes daily, structuring information into easy to understand formats (catering for all kinds of learners). Teaching video, audio and web design to college students. Marking and grading their work and meeting with students parents regarding personal progress.

Managing and processing of sales within the shop, whilst assisting members of staff closing sales. Ensuring all phone sales are processed according to the FSA guidelines. Up selling various products to customers, dealing with customer issues and complaints. Controlling of stock in and outside the store and customer retention.
