I worked/work for many years as a professor in a Federal University in Brazil.I have a very solid math / science background and skills.During my time as a professor, I did/do a lot of research and development. I have/had the opportunity to work in projects involving machine learning, software development, pure and applied science research, consulting, etc.I also have experience in heterogeneous system where you have to integrate different technologies (like C and Python, Matlab, Web, Hardware, etc).I worked in big projects ranging from Smart Cities Data Analysis to building a Near-Infrared Spectrograph for the very large telescope in Chile.Masters and PhD in information processing and intelligent systems. Two PostDocs, the fist at Florida University in United States and the second at Geneva in Switzerland.
