PhD on the Metaverse: "Imagining and designing the metaverse"

What is my mission? To bring an original and unique new narrative allowing to think outside of the box, and question some profound assumptions about our world. Paradigm shifts are always difficult to navigate. When humanity moved from monotheist religions to materialist science, it went through several existential crisis. People were lost for meaning: if there is no God, and there is no Paradise, what is the point of life? Charlatans walked the streets selling snake oil, gadgets for personal protection and more. It took a lot of time for the dust to settle and for humanity to digest and integrate this new materialist science paradigm.And yet, even though humanity has just barely integrated the materialist paradigm, it appears as if we are on the cusp of a new paradigm which is just outside of our reach. Simulation theory, the mystery of consciousness, the announced apocalypse, all point to major signs of a complete reassessment of our world view.How can I help? By examining the current challenges humanity is facing, and share a new narrative, via story telling, which can change the meaning and thereby, enable to think of truly innovative solutions to these challenges. Some of these include: climate change, resource depletion, growing inequalities, political instability, demographics, loss of biodiversity, financial crisis and collapse, pollution and trash, exponential growth and more.​Just as lightning remains lightning, climate change remains climate change, and yet by shifting our world view, by questioning our understanding of reality, the solutions to these issues can radically change as well. Suddenly, the Universe is no longer a dump mechanical machine, but an evolving, living global organism. Perhaps a new narrative, a new story, can change our understand of reality, help us align with our true purpose, and in the process, answering the most pressing question of all time: why are we here?
