Using AI to accelerate quantum chemistry/atomistic simulations. Solving complex processing challenges using ab intio molecular dynamics, neural network and machine-learned forcefields, density functional theory, nudged elastic band theory, high-throughput computational materials science workflows and more.

Ph.D. internship in the Exploratory Design Group at Apple doing quantum chemistry simulations.

- Built high-throughput materials science computational workflow using Atomate and leveraging density functional theory for photocatalysis/CO2RR applications.- Performed Crystal Orbital Hamiltonian Population (COHP) analysis, electronic structure analysis and charge patitioning schemes analysis to better understand material property-performance relationship- Contributed to open-source materials science software including Pymatgen, Atomate, Fireworks.- Taught Python workshop to over 30+ industry and academic attendees of the Materials Project workshop- Leverage material informatics + big and complex material database and machine learning tools to understand trends between material systems.- Used molecular dynamics, density functional theory, open source queue managers, nudged elastic band theory, and machine learning/data analysis tools.

Joined Intel for the summer as a Chemistry Modeling Intern, and worked on high-throughput computational quantum chemistry, and reaction simulations.

Vice President of Finance for UC Berkeley's Graduate Assembly, the student government organization which represents over 11,000 graduate and professional students at Cal. - In charge of $1M+ budget- Voting member on key advocacy committees including Chancellors' Advisory Committee on Student Service Fees, Student Fee Referenda Committee, Student Union Board

Research for "Master's" section of PhD program. Worked on three main projects: self-assembly of perovskite nanocrystals, Langmuir Blodgett assemblies of perovskite nanoparticles, and lead-free perovskites.Used two national facilities at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab:Performed work on the Tecnai 200kV electron microscope at the National Center for Electron Microscopy. Performed SAED, EELS, STEM and focal series reconstruction on HR-TEM. Took atomic-resolution images and analyzed crystal structures using TEM.Performed work on Beamline 7.3.3 at the Advanced Light Source synchrotron to look at crystal structure, phase transformations and nanoparticle arrangement. Performed both SAXS and WAXS, at transmission and grazing incidence operations.

Main project, worked with grad mentor on UV-cleavable polymers for use as UV sensor. Characterize cleaving kinetics under different environmental conditions.

Research exchange; worked on MoS2 for hydrogen-evolution reaction (HER). Nanofabricated MoS2.
