Scandiweb gave me the opportunity to greatly improve my coding skills and gain hands-on experience of a development "ecosystem". Through pre-employment assignments as well as tasks during the trial period I:- improved my PHP, HTML and JS skills and principles of writing clean code,- learned using Jira, Git and basics of coding in Magento framework,- gained hands-on experience of the development workflow.

A translation project manager is much more than a medium between the client and the provider, whose job is to merely communicate with clients and providers as well as receive and forward files. To emphasize that, here is a list of some of my responsibilities and tasks as a project manager:- Communication with clients and providers (obviously) in multiple languages- File management (sending, receiving, checking, backing up, accessing and editing to creatively tackle some specific issues)- Time management (scheduling of various in-house and outsourced tasks)- Resource management and support (preparing working materials and environments for providers, familiarizing myself with different CAT tools and other software, teaching providers to use that software, solving technical/software problems in-house and remotely, managing TMs and TBs)- Quality assurance (checking translation quality with various tools and methods)
