Overseeing bid solutions across Randstad's UK operating companies. Developing proposals for clients for single operating companies as well as solutions for strategic accounts that draw on the capability and supply expertise of multiple business lines. Line management of bid managers and direction of bid process and strategy across UK businesses.

Heading up the bid team for Reed Specialist Recruitment. Overseeing bids for high value recruitment process outsourcing, managed services, preferred supplier lists and aligned solutions including pre-employment vetting and graduate recruitment.

Leading on tenders in response to the procurement programmes of customers such as the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), Development Agencies and multiple local authorities and smaller funding streams.

I managed a team of approximately 25 Adviser Managers, Employment Advisers and Recruitment Managers on Reed’s Doncaster Employment Zone. The role involved responsibility for a multi-million pound cost centre, coaching and performance management of staff and engagement with local supply chain organisations and stakeholders.

I had a caseload of between 30 and 60 long-term unemployed adults. I was targeted to find solutions to secure full-time employment through information, advice and guidance. This involved referral onto internal and external courses as well as motivational interviewing.
