Hugo Broker S.L. converted into Hugo Broker Agencia de Valores S.L. after succesfully obtaining the license from the CNMV on the 25th of July 2022. We operate under the name Hugo Investing and offer private banking service for brokerage prices. Our clients can count on-going support from a team of experts, a team that always picks up the phone. We organise seminars, events and 1-1 training sessions in our office during the whole year, with just that one purpose, make your money grow!

As one of the board members of Hugo Broker Agencia de Valores S.L., I am appointed for the position of Chairman of the Board, responsible for presiding the periodic board meetings, scheduling the agenda and supervising the effectiveness of the board.

Hugo Broker S.L. is founded in December 2020 with the aim to continue the activities of BinckBank N.V. Branch in Spain.

Working for over 11 years in investment banking in the BinckBank office part of Saxo Bank in Spain. Father of a beautiful daughter, happily married and passionate about cycling. My day to day responsibility as Senior Account Manager is dealing with the top clients of our branch and maintaining the client base Spain and Portugal with none comparable service. With more than 11 years of experience educating thousands of private investors I know the pitfalls in the market for private investors, it is my purpose to make my clients better investors, which on a long term creates better clients for our bank. On a regular basis I give seminars to private investors throughout Spain and Portugal with a wide range of different subjects. The topics I touch go from using complicated derivatives to how to build a long term investment portfolio in times of no interest. Also I have a regular vlog "Binck Cafe" in which I touch actual news and and events in the market.Besides the account management part of my job I have been heavily involved in a various project groups over the last 5 years such as the implementation of MIFID II in the bank and launching a new proposition in Spain servicing English speaking expats through an introducing broker set-up with Saxo Bank. I have gathered a lot of knowledge on how to use and implement CRM solutions to cater our daily needs. As we are a small branch office in Spain I am also the first contact point of the local supervisors. Dealing with the Banco de Espana and the CNMV on a regular basis and managing the reporting lines to these supervisors is therefore part of my tasks.

I started my career in finance at the age of 26 more or less at the same time when I started my Master Direccion de Finanzas. During the first four years within the bank I worked my self up to such a level that my supervisor realized that my extreme commercial drive combined with empathy with my clients and I got promoted to Senior Account Manager.

Responsible for analyzing and advising the board about expanding the groups activities to Eastern Europa. Dealing with the day to day activities related to our project portfolio in Poland and Bulgaria; marketing plan, cash flow calculation, viability studies etc.
