Martin is an effective communicator and spokesman utilizing excellent relationship building, business development, leadership, and fundraising skills working with the nation’s top elected officials and c-level executives. He currently leads a business development and strategic communications consulting firm. He formerly served as Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Acting President for an aerospace company, with a core focus primarily in the defense, security, and border protection industries. Martin led the business development initiatives in the Middle East and Africa and served as Acting President during the successful signing of several agreements in Ukraine. Aeroscraft is the most innovative lighter-than-air (LTA) manufacturer in the world with the introduction of the revolutionary 66-ton ML-866 heavy-lift cargo airship expected in 2020. Having broad experience working in both federal and state government, Martin twice served as a Chief of Staff to a Member of Congress on Capitol Hill and facilitated his boss' election as the fourth highest ranking Republican in the Conference Leadership in only his third term. Martin served as a Senior Adviser to Chairman Bill Huizenga, the Chairman of the Capital Markets, Securities, and Investment Subcommittee in the House Financial Services Committee. Martin also has extensive experience in state government where he has worked as a multi-client and association lobbyist for seven years, in addition to working in the state legislature for over seven years. He brings a wealth of political experience having started his career as a Field Director for the Michigan Republican State Committee, having served on several political campaigns and as a Senior Adviser for the McCotter 2012 Presidential Committee. Martin has his Masters in Communications from Michigan State University and a Bachelors in Political Science from Calvin College.
