I serve as chair of Cadwalader’s Compliance, Investigations & Enforcement Practice Group and am an active contributor to thought leadership within the legal community. I was the creator of the Willkie Compliance Concourse, a first-of-its-kind web-based application covering the latest legal, and now at Cadwalader, I host a podcast series on compliance topics. Additionally, I am a co-author of the forthcoming updated edition of The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act: Compliance, Investigations and Enforcement, a comprehensive practitioner’s book covering all aspects of the FCPA. The digital publication will be published by Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory, U.S., and available on the VitalLaw platform. My work over many years has focused on investigations, compliance, and enforcement actions covering virtually every type of financial fraud in almost every industry, spanning more than 60 countries. I joined Cadwalader earlier this year after a great run at Willkie Farr. Previously, I served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Fraud Section of the Northern District of Georgia. I have been counsel in many of the most complex FCPA cases and have served as an expert witness on the topic.I am very active in community affairs, ranging from service in higher education and philanthropic foundations to underserved youth and environmental causes. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation and sit on Dartmouth College’s Presidential Leadership Council. Recently, I served as co-chair of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s 2022 National Tribute Dinner and was a founder of the Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP Greater DC Community Foundation. In addition, I was previously Chairman of the Board of the Community Foundation for Greater Washington as well as Chair of the Trustee/Governance Committee of the Board of the Landon School for Boys.
