In 2021, after a long break, I renewed my license of Flight Instructor for Sailplanes or FI(S). In the past I have been teaching gliding and all together I have 2800 flight and 420 hours as a flight instructor. As of September 2022, I am also licensed as a FI(S) for FI(S) which means that I can instruct potential flight instructors. Last year a villa in Omer has been realised and we are working on a second villa in Lehavim which has been designed to take a maximum advantage of the park like garden and the stunning views of the wadi and will have a strongly reduced energy and water consumption. For the Technical College in Beer Sheva a sanitary unit has been realized. Finally two tables and a set of shelving units have been designed and built. After several years of managing Martin started his own architectural firm. His design works include a home care center and a number of renovations and transformations of existing educational buildings. The buildings were transformed in colorful, transparent and stimulating learning environments.

In the Master Studies I was a tutor for building technology in several design studios related to hybrid buildings, dwellings and renovation and transformation. I also teaches a course where students analyse an existing building and make a redesign.

Woudenberg

In 2001 I started working at Inbo as a Project Director. I was responsible for a retail project with ABN AMRO. On the basis of a number of concepts developed by ABN AMRO approximately 325branches were redesigned. My dissertation was started as a result of the involvement in this project. From 2007 I was an Architect-Partner at Inbo. Responsible for around 30 people. Besides the above mentioned ABN AMRO project the so called ‘Integral Education’ concept was developed where education buildings were designed in such a way that they can adapt themselves to the ever changing educational concepts.
