This 12 month part-time position saw me responsible for all things video at Oxfam Australia. This role included responsibility for in-house videography and editing; hiring video contractors; managing video projects and advising staff on how best to use video to enhance their work. This role was also responsible for Oxfam’s video database plus managing their AV equipment pool and identifying future equipment needs.

At Oxfam I was the Visual Resources Coordinator in the Communications Unit, managing Oxfam's photographic and video resources. Photography plays a huge part in Oxfam's marketing and communication materials, it's vital to telling the Oxfam story. During my 8 year stint Oxfam's annual budget went from $7 million to $32 million.I was responsible for the direction and growth of their photo collection, ensuring photos complimented and enhanced their brand. Other responsibilities included:• Managing day to day operation of Oxfam's international photographic collection• Undertaking a number of international photo assignments to countries such as Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, India and Papua New Guinea including hosting celebrities Kerry Armstrong, Ditch Davey and Julie McCrossin• Selecting and employing photographers to undertake Oxfam photo assignments around the world• Photo editor for Oxfam's marketing materials such as newsletters, direct mail, web site and annual reports• Production of CSA's (Community Service Television Advertisements)• Melbourne International Comedy Festival Comedy Gala - supporting Oxfam Australia. I was responsible for Oxfam's backstage presence, working with GNWTV and the comedians to produce TV grabs to be used throughout the Gala TV broadcast. I was also Oxfam's photographer at the Gala.
