- Managed nation-wide, Centralized Performance Management and Disaster Recovery Planning for the Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs), for which numerous citations and awards were received.- Participated in the development of multi-year IT budgets in the Billions of Dollars as part of the Capacity Planning Process.- One of Eight Members of Nation-wide 24x7 Operations Task Force.- Participated in numerous Planning, Acquisition, construction and Installation cycles for Data Centers. - Developed one of the earliest examples of an ERP system to coordinate the activities of ATT (Sales) with Bell Labs (Chip Designs) and Microelectronics (Chip Production). Accomplishing this, I developed automated daily information updates between Sun Servers, Mainframes, VAX/VMS and UNIX machines, spread across multiple companies.- Redesigned the System V Resource Accounting Subsystem, accepted as the new standard by the UNIX System Steering Committee composed of ATT, IBM, DEC and others.- Worked with the founding fathers of UNIX to port System V to the Cray XMP-24 Supercomputer.- Assisted Manufacturer's Hanover Trust Bank install and operate one of the nation's first commercial UNIX on a mainframe sites under VM.- Developed courses and conducted nation-wide training for ATT and its customers in UNIX System V system administration and Internals.
