Everyglobe was an online travel startup aiming to make the travel industry a better place.Leading the backend team, I was responsible for driving the product definition and software architecture of everyglobe in order to build sophisticated components that deliver great value to our customers. Among others, we implemented a tool to help hotels to get more direct bookings and cut intermediation costs. Also we implemented a Recommender System for travel destinations inspiration based on the psychographic profile of the traveller. In addition, I fostered agile practices across the full engineering team to shorten the build-mesure-learn loop cycles in the quest for product-market fit

As part of the Supplier Connectivity Team, I led the technical design and managed the implementation of several projects regarding supplier inventory acquisition· Designed the integration with Amadeus and Galileo GDSs, the main suppliers of regular airlines inventory of the company,· Provided technical analysis for the Platform Convergence projects which brought together the 4 information systems of eDreams, GO Voyages, Opodo & Travellink into a single common platform· Supervised the technical design and implementation of the offshore team's LowCost suppliers integration projects· Designed and implemented several parts of the new booking engine, including core modules and Collections and Payments module, responsible for maximizing profits within the business transactions between customers and suppliers.

Netsuus was a startup that provided web analytics benchmarks for different verticals based on Internet traffic samples collected directly from Spanish ISP networks. · Implemented a network sniffer that collected 140+ million HTTP hits per day from different ISPs.· Designed the full information systems architecture that processed 100GB of daily data, extracting several web analytics metrics for 150.000+ websites. · Created a cache-intensive data extraction API that published 50+ web analytics statistics, together with a frontend platform that allowed our customers to create on-demand reports.· Led the engineering team that build from scratch the netsuus technology.
