The decision was passed and Desto was placed under Business Rescue in June 2016.Desto was however unable to execute its Business Rescue Plan and the company was placed into liquidation in June 2018.

Desto eLearning- With our dominant focus on ICT, I pursued technology development initiatives internally which led to the creation of Desto’s eLearning potential.3. Jobs; focused on finding and placing Desto students in secured job through placement and internships.- Desto’s training continued to see more than 1,000 learners trained every year, mostly artisan related. One project we had to spray paint 120 computer yellow for distribution to school libraries. Cable Warehouse was also registered as a Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher and we had +/- 100 disabled students working for us during the course of the business who did the physical refurbishment. Cable Warehouse probably distributed more than 1200 computers in its 2 years of operation.• The position provided me with an excellent foundational learning curve and opportunity to gain an enormous amount of experience in all fields and areas of business.
