SAP DM DevOps Engineer

- MES MOM Consultant/Spec- Digital Tech Developer Specialist

-Collaboration with Solution/Roll-out teams to achieve the continuous integration and delivery process.-Build, release, and configuration management.-Automate deployment processes.-System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.-Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.-Contribute to the configuration, installation and documentation of client solutions.-Identify potential issues preventing the successful delivery of services or solutions.-Establish Proof of Concepts to validate the client solutions.-Manage/implement highly available and scalable services.-Collaborate with other operational teams during service on-boarding, capacity expansion, as well as ensure adherence to production deployment standards.-Own deployment, delivery and support of escalated issues.

- Participate in analyze and design new functions, processes- Deliver MES (HYDRA by MPDV) business solution developments based on the user request / functional design within the given time according to the development guideline- Executes and document first round module tests on the new developments- Creates technical documentation about the developments based on the templates- Participate in projects or work streams including analysis, design, testing and deployment- Experience working with MSSQL, JAVA, C#, C/C++ & specific Hydra script- Get knowledge in bug fixing and functional testing- Experience using development tools such as SVN (TFS) and JIRA- Working in the Agile DevelopmentAdditional Cyber Security experience- participate in the Norsk Hydro’s cyber recovery team- get familiar with the Cloud platforms such as Azure & AWS and help the backups (scan & restore) - use monitoring tools (PowerBI, Sharepoint), where needed develop custom scripts to automatize the massive manual work (with powershell + VBA)- work closely with IBM and help to coordinate the backups from the business side- help the local IT (global, 60+ sites) to restore their servers and build new architectural system + user creation

-Analyze, design, and develop new Excel VBA applications-Maintain and improve existing VBA applications as well as reverse engineer current macros by debugging and stepping through code-Assist in migrating macros to new platforms-Proactively clarify and question business requirements in relation to systems capabilities-Develop, maintain and support existing Microsoft Excel VBA applications.-Collaborate with business stakeholders for creating new VBA applications.-Analyze and convert business requirements to develop VBA applications.-Document technical specifications based on business and dataflow requirements.-Perform object-oriented analysis and design.-Perform diligent testing to ensure optimal performance.
