As a result the company secured several contracts to work with cannabinoids, psychedelics, and other substances to develop next generation pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.In liaison with the legal firm I contracted with, I set up the legal templates of the company for services, products, strategic partnerships, consulting, and fundraising. Assessed the state of anti-aging/ longevity space for a major biopharmaceutical company.I researched the science and technical feasibility, competitive landscape, strategic fit, conducted primary, secondary research and KOL interviews and generated a roadmap of the therapeutic and application space in the coming decades. We wrote the first comprehensive landscape analysis of this novel therapeutic and application field (aging/ longevity). As a result the sponsor of the study was able to make an informed decision whether to enter the market or not.

A Southern California health supplement startup hired me to grow their developing Bay Area market. Did online and field market research, estimated demand and established connections with retailers. Optimized the delivery routes and recommended starting local distribution centers.As a result the company’s regional revenue increased by 30% and achieved 15% market penetration.

During a high pressure business transition I served as the liaison between the CEO, the COO/CFO and the director of investor relations at this innovative pharmaceutical startup.Managed the complex Capitalization Table, tracked the grant options (warrants, RSUs, RSAs, ISO, NQSO, etc), promissory notes, served as the point-of-contact for the external share registrar.Customized legal contracts for new board members, employees, consultants.Organized smooth and successful shareholder (AGM) and board meetings; drafted regular and special regulatory announcements and press releases.Developed a company Prospectus with the C-suite.As a result the company successfully made the transition, started new subsidiaries and services.

A Texas Tech chemical engineering laboratory wanted to expand their bio capabilities. Improved lab equipment and operation, by procuring state of the art incubation system, upgraded fluorescent stereo microscope system and established animal maintenance and experimental SOPs.Wrote grants and presented progress at neurophysiology session of an international conference.Mentored 4 engineering students.Collaborating with the engineering team I developed a novel in vivo assay and screening technology for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).

My Rutgers genetics laboratory’s state of the art neuroscience project was halted when unique instruments became unexpectedly unavailable.Established a new Anti-Aging & Neurodegenerative disease research project on a $200K budget. Recruited, mentored, and supervised 26 scholars and laboratory technicians. Mentored the most talented from freshman year, resulting in 5 outstanding honors degrees.Wrote comprehensive SOP collection and localized safety documentation for the project.Worked with lab leaders and members to reestablish cooperation and communication in an overly competitive and anti-collaborative work environment.Developed novel microscopic applications for analysis of age-associated morphological change.The project produced >$6.5M in grants, an original research article published in Nature, dozens of scholarly theses.

Helped a medical university research group to start a molecular genetics laboratory.Assessed all of the nearby available equipment of collaborators, performed a gap analysis on which pieces were necessary and purchased the best available equipment at a discount price.Created a lab management system with protocol sharing, team communication and ordering.Mentored 4 new graduate students, trained lab technicians and established SOP collection.The lab is still operating with all the policies/procedures, produced original research article in Nature.
