About Martina Poletti

In 2022 I joined ESCP Business School in the Student Experience Office, after 8 years as the Program Manager for the TOChina Hub and a Junior Research Fellow at the Global China Program of the Torino World Affairs Institute. I hold a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Pavia, Italy, and a joint double master’s degree in International Sciences with a focus on Chinese Studies from the University of Torino, Italy, and Zhejiang University, China.From 2015 to 2021, I lived and worked in Beijing, China, where I managed academic cooperation between TOChina Hub and Peking University. My responsibilities included developing the ChinaMed Business Program and the Center for Mediterranean Area Studies of PKU. In Beijing, I also served as the Program Manager of ThinkINchina, a community of international students organizing monthly talks in the university district with renowned Chinese scholars.Upon returning to Torino in 2022, I assumed the role of Coordinator of the Editorial Board of OrizzonteCina, a quarterly scientific journal focusing on the political system, international relations, and socioeconomic dynamics in the People’s Republic of China and the broader Chinese-speaking world. Additionally, I served as the Program Manager of the China-Italy Philanthropy Forum, a project involving key players from the philanthropy sectors of both China and Italy, dedicated to the highest standards of corporate social responsibility.Since February 2023, I have been a part of the federal team led by EVP Rattalino at ESCP Business School, with a focus on implementing new and innovative projects related to Student Experience.
