MDF is a global training and consultancy agency with offices all over the world and many years of experience in international cooperation. I currently work at the MDF Asia office in Yangon (Myanmar) as trainer and consultant.As a consultant I love working on complex social issues, including conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, partnerships and capacity building. I gave trainings for a wide variety of organizations in the private sector, civil society and public sector. I trained in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, conflict resolution, intercultural communication, project management and leadership. Most importantly, I strive to contribute to society with everything I do.

My MDF position is part of the YEP programme. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated the Young Expert Programme Water (YEP Water) with the Netherlands Water Partnership and the Young Expert Programme Agrofood (YEP Agrofood) in partnership with the Food & Business Knowledge Platform. As a consultant specialized in stakeholder engagement I have worked in a variety of fields including spatial planning, infrastructure, water management, management of education, and union negotiations. Responsibilities in these fields consisted of preparing stakeholder and issue analyses, developing stakeholder engagement and partnership strategies, and managing stakeholder engagement projects. I was the project manager for SOM SET, an online application for stakeholder and issue analysis. My approach is characterized by a thorough analysis of the interests of the different parties, followed by a strategy on how to engage stakeholders and work together on creating value for all the parties involved. Besides working on projects I teach courses on stakeholder engagement.

CYFI is an NGO that advocates for financial inclusion and financial education for children and youth. I was the Office manager during the start-up of the organization. Afterwards I organized the first CYFI Youth Summit in order to initiate a youth movement for the organization. At the conference were around 80 children and youth from 60 different countries. This helped the organization to gather youth around the cause of financial inclusion.
