In the academic year 2021-2022, I was part of the Central Student Council of TU Delft. The Central Student Council consists of 10 elected students and is the highest (legal) representation of all 28,000 students to the Executive Board. Within the Council, I was responsible for the ICT facilities portfolio and in this role I was able to work for a more sustainable campus and safe, innovative and accessible ICT systems for students. Additionally, after a long time of online education through COVID-19, I had the opportunity to present a study on student experiences around online versus on-campus education.During this year, I gained a lot of experience in policy analysis, advising and participating at the highest level of an organization.My Student Council year was recognized with a 12-month Scholarship

India

As part of a student consultancy team, I executed a full-time summer project for ING in India, where we assessed the feasibility and competitiveness of the Indian green hydrogen supply chain. Throughout the project, we traveled across India, engaging with over 30 stakeholders, including government institutions, green hydrogen producers, and financial organizations. Our goal was to map out potential sustainable investment opportunities for ING, contributing to their strategic decisions in the rapidly evolving green hydrogen sector.

IRP Delft is a non-profit organization run by 20 motivated Master Students from the Delft University of Technology, we all have different technical expertise. Yearly, we take the summer to perform consulting projects through which we provide innovative technological and strategic solutions for companies. This year our destination is India. In the run-up to and during the project itself, we are trained and assisted by top tier consulting firms such as McKinsey, the Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company.

As a member of the Advisory Board of Student Council Party ORAS, I provide monthly advice to the current faction and board on their activities, policy and personal development.

Delft

Within the Central Student Council of TU Delft, I was part of the ORAS faction. ORAS is one of the two parties in the Council and is committed to high quality education, good facilities and room for personal development. Within our 7-member faction I held (in addition to the SR portfolio IT) the position of Commissioner of Communication. In this role, I was responsible for substantive communication from ORAS to students and committed to gathering student input for our council tasks. As such, I formed the link between the student and ORAS.In addition, I possessed the specialization "Campaign," in which I had the opportunity to work on ORAS's election campaign for the subsequent Student Council elections.During this year, I developed in terms of working intensively together in a (very fun) group, reaching large groups of students and organizing an election campaign.
