As a president and member of several boards, I put people and companies in a position to be able to win. I’m willing to do the hard things - and I have high standards. My success has been achieved by collaborating with patience, respect, authenticity, integrity, diligence and creativity. My purpose is to help organizations increase their value while helping people develop their gifts and talents to positively contribute and make a difference. As director on the board of a privately-held 100+ year manufacturing company and President of the Board of Education of nationally-recognized Byron Center Public Schools, I seek to understand first, analyze large amounts and different types of information, collaborate to form organized and workable solutions, methodically communicate ideas and strategies, and follow through with implementation and measurement of goal achievement.Prior to advisory roles, I launched 3 privately held businesses in 2001, including  an international manufacturing recycling business (BPV Environmental) and a retail business in Dade County, Florida.  As CEO & President of BPV Environmental, I grew the business an average of +37% annually for almost 20 years while providing stability for team members, customers and shareholders.  I started my career in the early 1990's with Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles, CA, and Denver, CO, auditing Fortune 500 corporations such as Pacific Enterprises, Janus Henderson Investors, Oppenheimer Funds plus non-profit organizations like the LA Catholic Diocese. Transitioning into Deloitte’s consulting practice is where I developed system implementation and merger and acquisition experience for mid to large size companies.
