Marty is a decorated Desert Storm Veteran. He spent years in the United States Army and Army Reserves as a field soldier, staff officer, and commander. He served in other areas of government. He was elected in 2000 to serve in the South Carolina House of Representatives, a position he held until 2006 when he chose not to run for re-election. He served in a number of different capacities during his time in the legislature and remained focused on serving the citizens of his district. Marty is a passionate trainer and speaker.
