-Maintain responsibility of commodity inventory, including costs management and inventory decisions for assigned locations-Work with Product Management to identify cost negotiation and pricing opportunities for margin improvement-Work with Product Management on New Product Introductions-Involved in supplier management to negotiate and resolve performance issues-Identify margin improvement opportunities through reviews and analysis; leverage WESCO’s size and capabilities at all levels to maximize margin-Support and execute region-wide strategies and participate in margin improvement activities, initiatives, and meetings-Develop supplier performance metrics, oversee tracking, evaluate results, and work with suppliers to improve performance (On-time delivery, Supplier Fill Rate, Error reports)-Monitor and adjust EOQ levels and make appropriate stocking decisions-Standardize and maintain inventory attributes for purchasing and inventory -Utilize reports, applications, and programs to monitor and maintain stocking levels, make stocking decisions based on sales history or customer requirements, and conduct branch transfers or supplier returns of excess and/or inactive inventory and disposal of inactive inventory -Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training/coaching of personnel-Ensure compliance with WESCO standard policies, procedures, internal audit, and Sarbanes-Oxley controls, and quality control processes-Understand and support LEAN programs and support WESCO procedures for document control, purchasing, process control, corrective and preventative action, and control of quality records

-Plan and purchase products for large animal health -Negotiate price, quantity, lead time, deliver dates, and establish terms and conditions of purchases-Assess vendor capabilities, develop alternate sources, and evaluate supplier performance-Assist in developing department best practices and procedures-Recommend major purchases of inventory based on anticipated changes in price or situations of limited availability (short supply, backorder, etc)-Recommend price changes based on competition or changes to vendor pricing -Work with warehouse on monitoring supplier performance-Database maintenance

-Manage flow of over 3000 SKU’s at 6 North American and 3 Canadian DC’s. Including managing NPI and EOL functions-Define ASL (Authorized Stock List) and planning parameters, make additions/changes-Identify Critically Short items and expedite to prevent stock outs-Determine forecast method and monitor forecast accuracy and make changes when necessary-Maximize performance of supply chain network by monitoring and rebalancing stock among DC’s-Analyze inventory performance to maximize inventory investment-Create and run SQL reports-Give overall direction and methodology to supply chain management -Participate in top level management planning group with executive team as requested

Responsible for supporting the complete demand planning functions for all consumable supplies that are purchased, marketed and sold by the aftermarket group. Provide material planning, forecasting and scheduling, inventory analysis and control activities ranging from new product introductions to end of lifecycle inventory management. Determine appropriate inventory levels, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and recommend corrective action to management. Perform assignments in production control and shipping/receiving procedures. Ensure that production and material control systems, both process and IT-related are efficient. Analyze end of lifecycle inventory and make recommendations for inventory usage, including what product can be sold and when. Conduct new product coordination including initial release, new part release and initial requisitions and order placement.

Plan for, purchase, and carefully track distribution and sales of all HP OEM product ($35 million). Manage flow of over 3,000 OEM SKU's at our three North American locations. This includes managing NPI and EOL functions. Resolve short, over, and mis-shipments as well as quality issues with suppliers and coordinate returns when necessary. Define and set up ASL’s, segments, and planning parameters for each segment, and make additions or changes within Servigistics when conditions indicate. Perform help desk support for fellow Servigistics users. Support a sales force of over 60 representatives by providing price, availability, and ETA information for incoming product. Engage in active day-to-day phone and email communications with both suppliers and customers to assure smooth efficient flow of parts and supplies. Maximize performance of our distribution system by monitoring and regularly re-balancing stock among our three warehouse centers.
