About Marty Evans

I am a manager and electronics engineer with experience in system architecture of consumer products, embedded design, analog/digital/mixed signal board level design, x86 systems architecture and design, and familiarity with FPGA design and RTL. I am experienced in EMC/ regulatory qualification of consumer products as well as all facets of the consumer product design life cycle from idea to manufacturing from the perspective of a system engineer. I am very organized and proactive in management of schedules and design flow. I started my career in electronics as an Avionics technician in the USAF which has given me a unique perspective on engineering. I was an Electronics Technician on both the F-16 and F-117A stealth fighter for 10 years after which I returned to college for my engineering degree where I graduated with Honors at the top of my class. I have been designing consumer electronics since 1999. I wish to further my skills in electronics design and eventually want to get an advanced degree possibly in consumer product design or Management. I see myself as a business owner in the future so I can apply my passions freely.Specialties: Product and electrical architecture, PCA design, power supply design, consumer products, analog/digital/mixed signal design, microcontroller embedded design, component selection, PC and PC peripheral design (mice, keyboards, printers, and Intel x86 based tablets), VR systems and active cables, manufacturing test, and consumer product regulatory compliance.

Listed skills include Embedded Systems, Systems Engineering, Testing, Hardware Architecture, and 25 others.
