As a mentor in these programs, I led incoming freshmen (who were seeking the engineering track) in a rigorous six-week program with the aim of preparing participants for the road ahead. I organized and administered exams and group assemblies. Additionally, I tutored students in any subject that they needed help with in the program.Every mentor served as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for a particular class; I was a Teaching Assistant for Project Design. As a TA for this class, I aided students with Computer Aided Design (CAD) in SolidWorks and provided instruction when more help was required. Furthermore, I helped the course professor with the acquisition and assembly of the playing field that was to be the arena for the final project competition. I was the main tournament organizer and referee during the time of this competition.

As head referee of the arena it was my responsibility to manage large groups of players into teams and maintain these teams so that the games would run smoothly and fairly. It was also my responsibility to organize the aforementioned games and keep them running at a continuously ideal pace as to satisfy the customers. The most people I have managed in a single game is 107. I was also tasked by the creator and owner of the facility to create unique games and adaptations such that no game would become overplayed and begin to feel repetitive to the customers. I created about 10 strong, customer approved games during my time at the arena, with my crowd favorites being "Key-Game," "Defend the House," and "Zombies."My most important job at the arena was to ensure the safety of all participants. With so many people playing a semi-contact and injury-prone sport in a confined area with various hazards in the field, it was important that I remain forever vigilant and responsive to any medical emergency or interpersonal conflict.

In this position I interacted with patients and their families whenever they had questions/concerns regarding the hospital; I also escorted them out of the building when it became time for the patient to be discharged. Additionally, I assembled pamphlets and organized paperwork in preparation for nurse meetings and presentations.
