I have been selling items online for 25 years. I photograph items, edit photos, write technical descriptions and list the items for sale. Mostly antiques/collectibles and mechanical items, but I have sold many other kinds of things and have done a little bit of everything, including proofreading and published technical writing. I began as a technician servicing antique mechanical slot machines and gained experience in all phases of restoration. I do both field service and diagnostics, sometimes over the phone, and increasingly with FaceTime. I wrote short articles about selected vintage classic cars. I also did light photo editing, and published on WordPress. I did research, but mainly used humor and editorial-type commentary with emphasis on being entertaining or provocative, rather than strictly informative.
