Oversee the field services operations in the Midwest for GAF. Responsibilities include managing the GAF Field Services team, providing technical and sales support to the GAF sales team, engaging with the GAF contractor network, building owners, architects and specifiers to help guide proper installation and positive outcomes when GAF products and systems are used. Also participate in various industry trade association groups that promote and advance the roofing industry.

Monitor and participate in building code activities that have a direct affect on GAF product offerings and roof system requirements. Monitor energy efficiency advocate groups to insure that GAF products meet or exceed any proposed changes in the energy code. Participate in various industry associations to continue to strengthen the knowledge and professionalism of the roofing industry. These associations include ARMA, SPRI, PIMA, RCMA, CRRC and CSA. Provide cross-functional support within GAF to assist sales, marketing, technical, R&D and product management in problem solving and due diligence efforts.

I bring a sound technical background to this position to assist in the proper materials and design of commercial roofing assemblies. I provide support to roofing contractors, distributors, consultants, architects, specifiers, and building owners in accessing, evaluating and providing options to address their roofing needs. I draw on my knowledge and expereince to help provide reliable information and advice. I am responsible for GAF low slope roofing sales in Indiana and Southern Illinois.

Provided technical support for the Central Region. Managed and mentored 9-12 field quality assurance representatives who provide field technical support and inspections in the Central Region for GAF MC. Was responsible for construction document review and proivded approval on GAF guaranteed roof systems. Provided assistance to the sales force by suggesting solutions so to add value to the end user. Assisted in updates of application and specification manuals.

Performed hands on training and warranty inspections. Investigated suspected roof leaks, developed scope of repair, coordinated repairs and help resolve issues. Mentored other field quality assurance representatives.
