I was placed 2 full days a week at the Clara Barton school, a south side Chicago Public School. I co-taught one class of each grade K-8.

Over the course of 8 weeks, students alternate between museum visits and in class activities based upon works they have seen in the collection. Over the summer of 2013 I co-created the new curriculum with the other teaching artist and program director. Design SeminarI was paired with a Reading Specialist at Graham Training Center to develop and implement an arts integrated curriculum with a group of 10 moderately to severely disabled students aged 16-22.
