We (two partners and I) acquired from a lender, with unanimous approval from approximately 80 LLC’s, all the real estate assets owned by those LLC's and consolidated them into 50+ real estate investment partnerships with the Sherman Financial Group in October, 2011. They included approximately 4-5,000 residential and apartment real estate lots, almost 100 homes under various stages of construction, approximately 1,000 acres of attractive industrial lands, hundreds of acres of sought after retail assets and commercial buildings. All assets were in high demand-well located areas and were acquired through a complicated non-judicial workout / bulk-short-sale purchase. To date all assets, have been either rezoned, repurposed, developed, constructed and/or sold. It was one of the largest real estate transactions in the country in 2011.
