RECENTLY RETIRED, seeking part-time opportunities. I was a Distribution Standards Engineer at Avista Utilities, my work was focused on internal standards for underground distribution.I was previously the on-site engineer at Avista Utilities'​ downtown Spokane Electric Network. My duties included periodic review of the electrical loads and future load requirements, providing technical guidance and coordinating with specialized crews on network operation and maintenance, and a variety of municipal, customer, and contractor-facing roles related to operation of our network.Prior to this assignment, I was the Underground Distribution Standards Engineer for Avista Utilities. In that role I developed standards for construction of underground distribution systems, reviewed and approved materials for use in Avista's underground distribution system, and provided engineering and project management for a large distribution project in our service territory.I have prior experience spanning the wireless arena including cellular & PCS, land-mobile radio, and some experience with wireless networking. I have extensive experience in application of electronic test and measurement equipment, particularly in the application areas noted above.
