Vice President - Strategic SalesAvian Inventory Management Feb 2024 - PresentOrlando, Fl, UsI am truly honored and thrilled to join the Leadership Team at AVIAN in a newly created position as Vice President Strategic Sales, targeting essential Partners and Inventories. Over the previous two-years since ‘Go-Live’, Ian Gurekian, Steve Rugg, and the entire Team, have built and worked extremely hard to launch AVIAN Inventory Management, LLC into a major Distribution Center and Industry Player in an already crowded space. Our relationship with Embraer is a very differentiating business model, leveraging a long-term financial Capital solution for a unique spare parts strategy to serve Embraer’s customer base, as a start. AVIAN has consolidated and is actively selling all of Embraer’s worldwide surplus spare part inventory from the new and expandable 72,000 sq’ ft facility in Orlando, Florida built-out in October of 2021, a few miles from MCO Int’l Airport. Our agreement with Embraer for exclusive purchasing, marketing and distribution rights of surplus spans all the commercial and executive jet aircraft platforms and parts. But our model is scalable to accommodate future OEMs as well. Avian speeds our inventory to market, through contracted Sales Channel Partners (or “SCPs”) which are akin to an OEM Distributor, both physically and virtually embedded into our operation. The SCPs are the customer-facing entities, and include incumbents DASI, VSE, and Regional Airline Support Group (RASG) currently, with two others joining the team shortly. At the specific request of the Vice President of Tech Ops, I assumed ownership role to personally oversee, manage and adjudicate Frontier’s largest integrated (non-Engine) vendor Lufthansa Technik (LHT) for JIT airframe and QEC Rotable spare parts to impart financial control and operational oversight for the Director of Finance, given run-away costs of LHT Asset Management Services, akin to my former employer AAR Corp. Lead efforts for Configuration Control on behalf of F9 Engineering and Material Ops (Inv. Planning) for four (4) Airbus A320-variant aircraft types, including the GE LEAP powered NEO (new engine option). Reduced LHT Overdue fees of leased parts to company historic lows. Assumed this role with >300 Overdue parts in 3Q16, to a 2019 trailing twelve-month average of only 6.8 per day, slashing millions in expense to Frontier. Communicate as liaison with all affected departments within F9 as well as LHT. Created new P&P to mitigate Lease Return Aircraft expense of work done at MRO Airborne/PEMCO in Tampa, Florida. Interfaced, partnered and cross-trained my replacement to the Sr. Manager of Materials position, which I continue to support today collaboratively for Tech Ops. -
