Duties included marketing new clients and obtaining new work from existing clients, establishing service orders, preparing invoices, submitting reimbursement packages for corrective action activities, and performing collection activities. Also responsible for budget forecasting and tracking, adherence to standardized writing protocols, and hiring and mentoring of administrative and professional staff. Consistently obtained high performance scores from Chevron EMC for delivering quality work products within the established timeframes and budgets. Managed a wide range of environmental projects (budgets ranging from $40,000 to $3,000,000) including numerous soil and groundwater characterization/remediation projects for hazardous waste sites throughout Arizona, California, and Nevada. Worked closely with regulatory agencies on municipal, county, state, tribal, and federal levels to promote adherence to negotiated clean-up requirements.

Conducted remedial and post-remedial field activities for LUST sites at Air Force bases in Arizona, California, and Illinois. Supervised the installation and sampling of numerous monitoring wells to evaluate soil and groundwater quality in WQARF (Arizona Superfund) project areas in Phoenix, Tucson, and Nogales for the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Duties included working with water companies to collect samples from water production wells in affected areas, and making recommendations for how to manage water systems that had wells with exceedances of drinking water standards. Managed projects for the Arizona Department of Agriculture and City of Phoenix Aviation Department with budgets ranging from $12,000 to $25,000.Prepared the Title V air permit for an aerospace manufacturing company and wrote the QS-9000 procedures for the deionized water plant at a semi-conductor manufacturing facility. Responsibilities included entry of attribute data into GIS databases, summary report preparation, working with clients during report review, and interacting with regulatory agencies on municipal and state levels to adhere to recommended clean-up requirements. Instrumental in providing groundwater statistical analysis by utilizing specialized U.S. EPA approved computer software.

Supervised and assisted in numerous soil and groundwater characterization projects for UST sites throughout Arizona, California, and Nevada. Worked closely with regulatory agencies on municipal, county, state, and federal levels to promote adherence to strict clean-up requirements. Supervised the installation and instrumentation of over 100 monitor and soil vapor extraction wells at service stations, landfills, RCRA, and WQARF sites. Responsibilities included preparation of Phase 1 and 2 assessments, Aquifer Protection Permits, UST closure reports, and quarterly groundwater monitoring reports. Duties at the RCRA site included connecting extraction wells to a groundwater treatment system for the removal of hexavalent chrome and TCE.Task Manager for service station site in Channel Islands Harbor, California with a project budget of $17,000. Project included excavation of soils to shallow groundwater, and product recovery.

Worked closely with petroleum geologists on confidential projects. Reviewed mud and geophysical logs for potential natural gas deposits in Sacramento, California.
