Cybersecurity Project Manager
The Broadridge Firewall Refresh project encompassed 13 Data Centers around the world and a planned replacement of 53 Palo Alto firewalls in Phase 1. Responsible for managing a portfolio of MTA Critical systems through the Assessment and Incident Response playbook development process.Executed a threat intelligence project at Abbott Labs pharmaceuticals directly with the Client Service Manager. Reviewed thousands of vulnerabilities that were identified through Qualys scans with the objective of identifying the most critical and imminent threats to the organization. Applied Data Science techniques to analyze large data sets of vulnerabilities and enhanced them with additional corporate data (CMDB, etc.) to determine what threats Abbott’s limited resources could prioritize for remediation. Developed Risk Acceptance authorization and procedures for application owners unable to remediate their assigned vulnerabilities. Completed delivery of initial 3-6 months of remediation assignments to application and server owners.Responsible for managing the X-Force Red team over a 1-year period of Penetration Testing at Morgan Stanley overseeing nearly 70 tests, each with 7 SLA/SLO’s associated with them. 70x7=490 opportunities for IBM to be penalized as per the contract. The testing over that time frame resulted in only 3 SLO violations (or .06%) and none of them were associated with a financial penalty.
