Expansys is the largest specialist online technology retailer, operating in over 100 countries.Originally directly managed the warehouse & distribution function, setting up layout and processes for a new build 4000sq m warehouse. Managed couriers, staff and output during rapid growth with shipped orders increasing from 200 to1400 over 5 years, successfully introduced changes to WMS and procedures to enable growth to be maintained.Following outsourcing of this operation became Head of Logistics with responsibilty for supplier & courier operations, customer services and order returns.

Managing warehouse site and 20 staff, including goods-in/out, picking and shipping of on-line retail orders to daily targets, health & safety, building security, courier and contractor negotiations. Liaison with drop-shipping suppliers. Ensuring optimal staffing levels, and designing and improving procedures in consultation with Systems Developers. Ensuring stock from newly acquired companies was integrated and available for shipping via the Expansys WMS.

Broadsystem operated IVR and call centres providing telemarketing, data management services for clients ranging from National media & Utility companies to the ticketing for the Dome. My role involved managing and training team of data processors/programmers, devising and programming telemarketing scripts.
