KPS is a leading supplier of Java/J2EE compliant Knowledge Management software. Our main application is ‘Universal Knowledge Suite’ (UKS).My duties begin at pre-sales level, demonstrating UKS, conducting 'proof of concepts' and delivering project proposals. I also deliver product implementations, customisations and ‘UKS administrator’ training courses.My key technical skills are Java/J2EE/HTML/JavaScript (including YUI libraries)/CSS. Also SQL Server and Oracle SQL/administration skills.I provide on-going project and technical account management and support for several major customers.

Alphablox is a supplier of Java/J2EE compliant Business Intelligence software, with over 200 staff worldwide.My main duties were to scope and deliver java/J2EE analytical software solutions using the Alphablox platform. Also to deliver training courses in ‘Alphablox Fundamentals’.

FastTrack IT is Java/J2EE development house, with a staff of about 30.My main duties were to develop client and web-based applications using Java/J2EE/HTML/JavaScript,/CSS and Oracle technologies.I was also promoted to 'team leader' of four software engineers to create an Expense Management application.

I became a CBT consultant following a period of travelling in Eastern and Southern Africa in 1991-1992. I was hired on a contract basis in the UK and abroad for various projects in the banking, aviation and military sectors. My assignments include:September 1995 - September 2000IBM UK Ltd, Royal Navy Merlin Helicopter Part-Task Trainer (PTT) project• Analysed and designed several CBT programs and integrated them into the PTT• Team-led the CBT/simulation integration phase• Co-ordinated the factory and site acceptance testing using project QA standards (ISO 9000)• Gained subject matter expertise which enhanced project developmentNovember 1994 - August 1995: Cathay Pacific, A330 Airbus Pilot Training program Working on-site in Hong Kong alongside Cathay Pacific pilot training staff to design and develop pilot familiarisation and navigation CBT programs.

Wicat Systems is a supplier of Computer Based Training (CBT) programs, with over 100 staff worldwide.My main duties were to produce CBT programs for several pilot and cabin crew training projects. I was promoted to the role of ‘Instructional Designer’ to carry out Training Needs Analysis (TNA) assignments.
