• My role as an inspection specialist involved creating and publishing of technique sheets to be followed company wide, assisting in creating and editing of procedures with the company level 3 whilst working towards my.
• Site supervisor for 10 man multi-technician team carrying out various inspection techniques on various parts of the boiler and turbine. Lynemouth Power Station, Unit 3 Shutdown 2022.
• PAUT TFM and ET weld inspection on 5 and 9 car train units, for major railway services working under the Hitachi Maintenance group. This work has taken place at Hitachi’s Doncaster, Edinburgh, Bristol and both London.
• PAUT Hydroform corrosion mapping and weld inspection, ToFD, IRIS, MPI, DPI and MAUT for Exxonmobil, Fawley Refeinry, various projects across the site and the Cogen 2022 shutdown.

World Wide

• At CAN Offshore Ltd my role as an ANDT Technician involved all aspects of NDT from carrying out visual and conventional inspection techniques to carrying out advanced and also assisting in them, working to deadlines.
• PAUT corrosion mapping and ToFD on various pipe lines across site, as part of an on-going dead leg inspection program – Sullom Voe Terminal – Shetland Island – ENQuest – February 2021 to October 2021
• None intrusive inspections using phased array, hydroform technique and assiting with ToFD on various vessels - Gannet Alpha – Shell offshore installation – UK North Sea – October 2018
• Phased array weld inspection on various sized welds looking for weld root erosion on the Alkilation unit – Valero – Pembrokeshire Refinery June 2020 to December 2020

World Wide

• As an advanced NDT technician at IRISNDT I worked as part of a team and mostly as team leader where I was trusted in supervising small teams of NDT technicians on various projects. This involved taking out permits.
• Utilizing phased array and assisting in ToFD on three reactors looking for high temperature hydrogen attack (HTHA) – OMV Petrom Oil Refinery – Brazi – Romania – May 2018
• Inspection of numerous off-site pipelines looking for internal and external corrosion using the Guided Wave inspection technique GUL – Petkim Petro Chemical – Aliaga, Izmir – Turkey – November/December 2017 and January.
• Supervising the night shift tube inspection teams on the 2015 and 2018 major turnarounds – P66 Humber Refinery – Immingham – UK – May/June 2015 and May 2018
• Manual ultrasonic inspection of welds in creep resisting steels (CMV welds) – RWE Power station – Aberthaw, Wales – UK – June/July 2017
