- Overseeing the day to day running of the agency, this includes managing office of staff. I am also responsible for managing the agent’s diary. - I am in sole charge of the staff development,Coaching/feedback, Training and Competence, which includes regular knowledge training, Booking staff training for internal courses, carrying out frequent regulation and staff competency checks in the form of listening to agency call recordings and file checks.- Insuring that any marketing material / literature used is still compliant under the NFU Mutual’s guidelines.- Setting individual sales targets by reviewing the annual business growth with the agent.- Staff recruitment; Reviewing CV’s, speaking to recruitment agencies and assisting the agent with carrying out the interviews with candidates.- Organising the monthly staff meeting, setting each member of staff a task to carry out in preparation for the meeting, this usually involves an update in the policy wording or changes to the FCA’s rules and regulations. I also write my own pop quiz for the staff, this will be based on information taken from the policy wordings. Once the meeting has been carried out I will record the minutes for regulation purposes.

Directors and officers, Professional indemnity.- Dealing with insurance premiums from £100 - £100,000 or whole accounts up to £700,000.- Specialising in the Food and Drinks sectors & Property Owners insurance.- I am confident in meeting clients in person to discuss the company’s insurance needs.- New business prospecting; I am in charge of building my own prospecting pipeline. Utilising various tools including but not limited to social media platforms. - I am in charge of the agencies renewal reviews that are carried out one month before the customers renewal date. This involves contacting the client to arrange a face to face or telephone review. Once the renewal review has been carried out a post call report is written and issued to the customer outlining the changes to the client.- I am well-versed in spotting opportunities to cross sell other products to my customers when necessary.- Maintaining the high level of service to existing and new customers, Handling mid term adjustments and offering advice to clients when necessary or setting up claims.- Handling delegated authority claims; I am in charge of setting up and dealing with the agency claims. When claims that fall under a delegated authority limit I will see them through from intimation until the claim has been finalised and settled.

-My role involved calling customers to book appointments for Designers to plan and designs Kitchens, Bedrooms, Bathrooms and Conservatories.I also on a daily basis take on responsibility for depositing cheques for the company.
